TEACHING & LEARNING: CNDLS supports faculty and graduate students interested in innovative course design, student-centered learning, educational technology, and improved assessment. Working with individual faculty members, departments, and programs, CNDLS works to uncover and implement the best teaching and learning practices. We collaborate with national organizations, like the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and other university teaching and learning centers such as the Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching and Princeton's McGraw Center, to cultivate academic discourse about the best teaching practices for the Georgetown community.
Our workshops, seminars, and summer institute provide roundtable opportunities for faculty and graduate students to share experiences with colleagues on topics pertinent to teaching and learning at Georgetown. Our mission is to foster collegial conversations, professional growth, and better learning by supporting meaningful incorporation of technology into teaching.
