
Purpose: Integrated Learning Pilot Grants support projects that seek to provide students with the opportunity to create learning communities with other students, over time, across academic boundaries, or by taking an integrative and reflective approach toward their learning throughout their four years at Georgetown. The goal of this award is to give faculty and students support to experiment with new digital portfolio and social learning tools, in combination with face-to-face activities, in order to model new approaches to developing integrated learning communities across time, space, or disciplinary boundaries. Who's eligible to apply? Departments, programs, or other learning communities on the Main Campus. Applications may involve students and academic staff.
Scope of awards: These projects will be supported with awards ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to be used for professional development, technology and software acquisition, funding for special events to further the project, and developing and maintaining learning networks and individual scholarly resources.
Relevant dates: Applications are due March 1st; awards announced by May 1st. Funding begins July 1st.
