CNDLS helps departments and programs not only with the “big picture” challenges, such as strategic goal setting and curriculum design, but also with the “on the ground” challenges of putting into place design and assessment strategies. CNDLS also works with Georgetown faculty to gather student feedback on the effectiveness of teaching methods and learning experiences. We provide:
- Consultation on disciplinary curriculum design.
- Consultation on program goals and assessment.
- Assessment and evaluation support such as focus groups, interviews, and surveys.
CNDLS helps all areas of the University make the best use of new and existing technologies, whether through innovations with Web 2.0 applications in the Georgetown University Digital Commons, support for good pedagogical practices with course management systems, the development of curriculum materials through the Language Learning Lab, or consultations with faculty and departments on strategic technology implementation and planning.
