Viewing the Videos
Welcome to the online video tutorials training! These training videos are designed for first-time or novice instructors who are interested in learning the setup and basic functionalities of a Blackboard course at Georgetown University.

These video tutorials cover the same content covered in the Blackboard Basics training workshop. Therefore, if you are unable to attend a Basics workshop, there's no need to wait around for the next one. Each of the video tutorials runs in an automated fashion and includes on-screen narration. Best of all, they can be viewed anywhere, anytime, and at your own pace.

Where to Begin?

If you are a first-time user, we recommend that you begin on the Getting Started page for a brief overview on the layout and tools available in Blackboard. Following this, you should work through each of the remaining tutorials found on the navigation menu to learn the use of specific Blackboard features. When successfully completing the tutorial sections, you will be well on your way to reaching intermediate level!
